The BIG Search: FACE OF UNITY NIGERIA 2013!!!

Nigeria is a country with a heterogeneous population and secular diversity. At independence, the harmonious co-existence of these diverse ethnic components was proudly referred to as: ‘unity in diversity’. The strength of Nigeria was then based on the ability of Nigerian elites to manage the resources from these various parts of the country while encouraging national programmes and projects that could enhance peace through unity. The patriotic labours of our heroes past was the reason for the growth and little development that brought Nigeria to the frontiers of international limelight in the early 1980s despite the ugly impact of the civil war.

Today, the story is different. The true national picture of Nigeria is one that suggests a possibility of a total collapse of our National foundation which was built on the solid rock of unity.

To avert this possible danger that is threatening the unity of our dear country from contaminating the minds of our youths, we have created a project with the Title ‘face of unity Nigeria’.

ABOUT THE PROJECT-

Face of unity Nigeria is a pageant that is particularly conceptualized to establish a platform that will encourage the unity of Nigeria through a yearly beauty contest among Nigeria young ladies. It is the design of this project to also complement the efforts of the FCT minister in his frantic duty to unify Nigerians. As a result, this pageant in dedicated to the FCT ministry as its pet-project.

MISSION:  To preach patriotism that can exorcise the jinx of disunity!!!

SCOPE: The pageant is a national project that will attract participation from all states of the federation. Every young lady who considers herself beautiful and with personal characteristic that can preach the unity of Nigeria at all time is qualified to register.  

CATEGORIES OF PRIZES

• The winner will go home with a brand NEW CAR, all expense paid trip to United Kingdom, 1 year modeling contracts Plus 1 year Ambassadorial Appointment on International Peace

• 1st Runner up will receive Cash Prize of N500,000, a Weekend in any 5-Star Hotel in Abuja, Plus 1 year movie & modeling contracts

• 2nd Runner up will smile home with a Cash Prize of N300,000, a weekend at any 5-Star Hotel in Lagos, Plus 1 Year modeling contracts

There's no doubt that,everybody can feel what the pageant is going to look like this year with the choice of Abuja, as the country's centre of unity. The standard is that the event will be anchored by range of stars and graced by academic dons, politicians, celebrities, corporate bodies, beauty Queens, the media and also the general public.

EVENTS COMMENCEMENT

This national beauty contest is billed to hold 8th of June 2013 with the auditioning beginning on the 13^th of April 2013.

The venue  of the grand finale at International Conference Center, Abuja. Zonal elimination stages shall take place in major cities in each of the six geo-political zones in Nigeria.
